Ten hands on three numbers, including a pair-and-kong hand people read the wrong way round.

The 369 section is the even section's cousin, built on 3, 6 and 9. It has the same friendly opener, a hand of four pungs and kongs that takes jokers everywhere.

Two or three suits, 25. All pungs and kongs.

One suit, with the matching dragon or the opposite one. Two pairs, so the jokers go to the flowers, the pung and the dragons.

The hand to read carefully is the one with a pair and two kongs. The 3, 6 and 9 are singles, one of them doubled into a pair, and the two kongs must be the SAME number as that pair, in the other two suits. Pair the 6 and your kongs are 6s.

Note

Three suits in a 369 hand means one suit per number, not a mix. When the card says any three suits, the 3s are one suit, the 6s another and the 9s the third.
