Splitting them up

Two exposures with one joker each beat one with two.

An exposed joker can be taken from you. Anyone holding the real tile can swap for it on their turn, and you cannot refuse.

So concentrating jokers in one exposure concentrates the risk. Two groups holding one joker each survive a swap; one group holding two can be stripped in two turns by the same player.

Note

Jokers still in your rack cannot be touched. Only exposing them puts them at risk, which is one more reason not to expose early.
